Grant writing services
I provide grant writing services to individuals and
organisations seeking funding for arts-based programs. I specialise in funding
applications relating to writing and the publishing industry, but can assist
those working in other sectors.
During the past three years, I have secured over $500,000 to support peak organisations, national literary events, journal publishing, professional development programs, industry research projects and literary awards. As Program Manager at the Australian Society of Authors (ASA), I gained extensive experience preparing funding applications for the Australia Council for the Arts, Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund, and state-based cultural agencies. I also provided assistance to authors independently applying for funding to support their writing projects.
As a writer with experience in publishing and arts advocacy, I have thorough knowledge of the professional environment in which authors work. I understand the processes involved in assessing funding applications, having managed many grant programs for the ASA. This enables me to develop strategies for individuals and organisations, providing them with the greatest chance of success in securing funding.
Rates are negotiable, according to the level of detail required by the funding body and the nature of the project. Not-for-profit rates are available.
